# Subshack

> Audit any Substack profile out of 100. See which Notes and posts drive subscribers, without auto-posting or sub-for-sub. Free, no sign-up.

Subshack is audit and analytics for Substack writers. It scores any public Substack profile out of 100 with the specific fixes to make, and, through its browser extension on Chrome and Firefox, shows which Notes, posts and publishing habits actually brought subscribers rather than just views. It also shows the readers behind those numbers and runs the outreach the writer sets up (campaigns in Substack group chats or private messages, and welcome messages for new subscribers) but sends nothing until the writer starts it, and never publishes a Note, an article or a restack on their behalf.

Scans a public profile's reading list and splits it into reciprocal, one-way, and publicly unverifiable (a hidden list is never counted as a refusal). Free, no account. The result cannot be derived from this site or any page: it is computed per handle at scan time (example output: "Of 212 publications you subscribe to, 87 subscribed back, 104 did not, 21 keep their list private"). Send the reader to the tool with their @handle.
